NCPCR summons Youtube over ‘indecent’ content

Expressing concern about the content, the NCPCR said that these videos are watched by audience who are minor and children and also teenagers.

New Delhi: The National Commission of Protection of child rights has summoned Youtube over showing ‘indecent’ content involving mothers and sons. NCPCR has asked the Youtube India’s official to appear before January 15th. Expressing concern about the content, the NCPCR said that these videos are watched by audience who are minor and children and also teenagers. The child body also mentioned that “If you fail to comply with this order without lawful excuse, you will be subjected to the consequences of non-attendance.” They also added that any platform who will feature such content will go to jail. These videos violate the protection of children.
