New Delhi: The success story of Haryana Cadre IPS officer Sangeeta Kalia is no less than an inspiration for the youth. Being a daughter of a painter she thought to settle down before her father’s retirement and gave UPSC examination after completing her post-graduation. She belongs to the Bhiwani district Of Haryana and completed her schooling there. She did her master’s in Economics from Ashoka University. On her first attempt, she got IRS but eventually, she succeeded in getting into the Indian Police Service. She is known for her argute nature, being in the position of SP, she once got into an argument with a BJP MLA, for which she got transferred as well.
