New Delhi: A video of Home Minister Amit Shah falling from a stage is being widely shared on social media and the claim is that the incident took place in West Bengal.

The video clip went viral in the backdrop of Amit Shah’s visit to Kolkata on February 18, where he is set to take part in 5th phase of Poribortan Yatra.

The caption of the video refers to ongoing farmers protest and takes a dig at BJP.

“Amit Shah fell off the stage while running after seeing farmers in Kolkata rally,” the caption read.

In first instance, the video looks doctored. Moreover, in times of elections, dirty tricks department of various parties get active as they allegedly circulate fake news to gain political mileage.
