Afghanistan: Women protest against Talibani rule turns violent, tear gas fired (VIDEO)

This was the second day of women protests in Kabul. A group of Afghan women activists also held demonstrations in Kabul on Friday, demanding equal rights and decision-making roles for them.

New Delhi: In the war-torn country, the Afghani women took out a protest march against the oppressive Talibani rule. But, it stopped violent as Talibani fighters used force to prevent them from marching towards Presidential Palace.

According to Tolo News, the women activists in Kabul were staging protests in Kabul demanding for their rights and representation in the new government.

Talibani fighters objected to women march and prevented the demonstrations from continuing by spraying tear gas shells.

A group of women’s rights activists in Kabul asked the outfit to ensure decision-making roles for women in the future government.

Afghan women are facing an uncertain future after the Talibani takeover. Their liberties and freedom stands revoked after Talibani fighters invaded and took seize of the country.

Last month, Talibani spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that women who work with the government should stay at home until they can ensure their safety on the streets and in offices.
