
New Delhi: A deadly blaze that engulfed a Cambodia hotel-cum-casino on Wednesday night has led to death of at least 10 people while more than 30 people are reportedly injured in the inferno.
The blaze broke out at Grand Diamond City hotel-casino in Poipet at around 11.30 PM last night, said Cambodia police. When the fire broke out, at least 400 people are said to be working inside the casino complex.
While many fire brigades were pressed into service to douse the inferno, the deadly fire caused huge damage to the building and led to huge devastation in the nearby area. Several video clips & footage surface on the social media, showing the massive complex on fire.
In some scary moments, a couple of people were seen leaping out of the hotel window to escape massive fire.

The Grand Diamond City casino, situated on the border of Cambodia & Thailand, is frequented by foreign visitors too. In fact, it’s not just one casino but many such casinos are situated here and remain a hotspot for tourists.
Poipet also serves as a popular holiday destination for visitors from Thailand.

According to an eyewitness, the blaze began on the first floor but quickly spread along the floor and then engulfed the multi-storey building.
