New Delhi: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was on Tuesday arrested by Pakistani rangers in Islamabad. Imran was arrested from outside the Islamabad High Court premises. His lawyers & supporters were also beaten by the Rangers.
The dramatic arrest of Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief by the Pakistani Rangers came at a time while he was appearing in Alqadir Trust case.

While Imran Khan was appearing in the High Court regarding the case, a large group of Pakistani rangers swooped on him. He was soon taken away by the Rangers.
The dramatic arrest of Imran Khan from the court premises is also said to be drawn ire of the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, TV reports said.

The arrest of former Pak PM from the court premises has triggered strong politicial reactions, with his party Tehreek-e-Insaaf calling it an abduction.

Senior PTI leader Fawad Chawdhury claimed that Imran was kidnapped by anti-people forces of Pak govt.
PTI, sharing a video also claimed that Imran Khan was badly pushed & bruised during his arrest by the Pakistani Rangers.

Imran Khan’s lawyer was also apparently injured during the sudden commotion outside court premises.
