New Delhi: As the world watches the horrific turn of events unfold in war-torn Afghanistan post-Taliban takeover, a seminary in Pakistan is celebrating the takeover of Kabul by the militant group.
Jamia Hafsa, a seminary in Pakistan’s Islamabad recently organized an event to celebrate the takeover of Afghanistan.

Students at the seminary sang paeans in praise of the Taliban and hailed its invasion of the Afghan nation. The video of students of seminary linked to Islamabad’s Lal Masjid went viral on the social media, creating strong reactions.

Tweeting the video of the event, Pak journalist Roohan Ahmed said, “The students of Jamia Hafsa, a seminary linked with Islamabad’s Lal Masjid, are singing a song ‘Salam Taliban’ in an event celebrating the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.”

Prior to this, Taliban flags were put up at the Pakistan’s Lal Masjid. When locals complained about it, the authorities swung into action and removed it.
