City Hunter OTT Release Date: Where to watch Ryohei Suzuki starrer live-action adaption of this popular Japanese manga series

New Delhi: Ryohei Suzuki starrer much-awaited Japanese manga web series City Hunter is finally set to release this summer

Written by acclaimed manga artist Tsukasa Hojo, the highly anticipated suspense drama is arriving to enthrall the fans by premiering on an OTT platform from 25 April onwards.

For the universe, the Manga series is a massively popular affair amongst enthusiasts with its 50 Million + copies already sold out in the global market by 2016.

It has also been voted Shonen Jump Magzine’s 19th most powerful series & the same stands as time-tested proof of its craze amongst the fans.

When and where to watch City Hunter

The fans of City Hunter will be able to enjoy the movie on the leading digital portal Netflix.

From 25 April 2024, the Misato Morita starrer show will become accessible on the digital platform, allowing masses to binge-watch it from the comfort of their home.,

However, it will be only available for those viewers who have subscribed to one of the plans (starting at Rs 149) offered by Netflix.

City Hunter 2024 Plot

While not much is known about the series’ plot yet, the Trailer & Teaser suggest that City Hunter revolves around the life story of a man Ryo Saeba (Ryohei Suzuki) who wants to leave no stone unturned in eliminating crime & illegal activities from his city.

To help Ryo succeed in his mission, Hideyuki Makimura, a skilled cop, also joins forces with him and the two establish an underground organization that offers a variety of services like assassination, security, protection, etc to the folks of the city.

However, things take a drastic turn when someone mysteriously kills Hideyuki and his death leaves Ryo in shambles.

Eventually, Ryo decides to team up with Kaori (Hideyuki’s younger sister) & the two set off on a vengeful journey to find her brother’s murderer & take their revenge.

City Hunder Direction and Cast

Helmed by Japanese movie director Yuichi Sato, City Hunter, in its stellar cast, features Ryohei Suzuki as the lead actor. besides him, the live-action adaption of Manga also sees actors like Masanobu Ando, Misato Morita, and Fumino Kimura in other key roles.
