New Delhi: Karolina Frankowska and Katarzyna Golenia wrote the screenplay for the Polish romantic comedy No Pressure, which was directed by Bartosz Prokopowicz. The film takes a new approach to the tired cliché of a city girl meeting a rural lad; it’s a feel-good comedy set in a Polish town.

Plot
No Pressure is a joyful, dramatic path of discovery and forgiveness that follows an intriguing, original theme centred on lying. Having achieved her lifelong dream, Oliwia now works as a chef in a major metropolis. Since her mother sold off part of the family property, she has grown apart from her grandma, and as a result, her rustic roots are beginning to show.
When her grandmother passes away, her hectic life comes crashing down, and she must return to the beautiful Polish village. Her irritable and crabby grandma Helina is intent on saving her farm and on strengthening her relationship with her granddaughter, but upon her arrival, she finds out that her granddaughter has been the victim of a cruel trick.
Meeting a handsome farmer, however, who may be hiding secrets of his own, makes matters worse. Together with Helina and the townsfolk, they create a web of lies to bring Oliwia back to her heritage and keep her. But when Oliwia starts caring for the farmer’s goats and horses, as well as falling for him, things become tricky.
A charming romantic comedy that is likely to win over audiences’ hearts, No Pressure offers lively community festivals, group dances, an abundance of farm animals, and eccentric characters.
