Alia Bhatt playfully slaps co-star Ranveer Singh during “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” promotions

New Delhi: The much-anticipated film, “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,” directed by Karan Johar, features the talented duo Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. As part of their promotional tour for the upcoming movie, the actors were engaged in a lively event in Mumbai, where a surprising incident took place that left everyone in awe. 

Alia Bhatt playfully slapped Ranveer Singh during the promotion of their newly launched song ‘What Jhumka?’ and the reason behind it is truly unexpected.

Alia Bhatt thoroughly enjoyed Ranveer’s imitation and couldn’t contain her laughter. In a playful gesture, she gently slapped the “Gully Boy” actor and urged him to stop mimicking her. Their interaction showcased their beautiful bond off-screen, further reinforcing their remarkable friendship.

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh previously shared the screen in Zoya Akhtar’s “Gully Boy,” and their chemistry both on and off-set has been widely praised. During an episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Alia revealed that Ranveer had been a tremendous source of support for her during the challenging scenes in “Gangubai Kathiawadi.” He surprised her by making a special appearance on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film to lift her spirits.

The film “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” boasts an ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Kshitee Jog, Aamir Bashir, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and others, adding further excitement to the film. The highly anticipated movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 28, 2023.
