New Delhi: The names of the actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi have been making headline for some time now in Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
As per the recent reports, several other actors from the industry are under the Enforcement Directorate (ED) scanner, currently probing the case.
Names of actor Shraddha Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty has emerged in association with Chandrashekar.
Chandrashekhar’s disclosure on Shraddha Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty:
The disclosure statement of Sukesh Chandrashekhar revealed that he have known Sharadha Kapoor for about six years and had helped her in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) case, news agency ANI reported.
He have also mention in his statement that he had contacted actor Shilpa Shetty for conditional bail of her husband Raj Kundra, who was arrested by police on July 19 along with 11 other people on charges related to the alleged creation of pornographic films. Kundra was granted bail by a Mumbai Court later on a surety of Rs 50,000.
Harman Baweja’s association:
Chandrashekhar also disclosed to ED that he knew actor Harman Baweja and was planning to co-produce his next movie “Captain” starring Kartik Aryan.
Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi:
Earlier, actor Nora Fatehi has been summoned multiple times by the ED, given her involvement in the case. She reportedly recieved a BMW car by Sukesh as a gift in December 2020.
Actor Jacqueline Fernandez had previously told ED that Sukesh gifted her two pairs of diamond earrings, two Hermes bracelets, three Birkin bags, and a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes, among other things. Besides, the two have been in regular contact since February 2021, until Sukesh got arrested.
