New Delhi: After its premiere on July 28 of this year, the romantic movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani quickly became a massive hit with moviegoers all over the world.
A big box office triumph has emerged for the film that marked Karan Johar’s return to filmmaking after a seven-year hiatus. It was initially conceived as filmmaker Johar’s longest film to date, and it starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the key roles.
Following the film’s success, the director said that he had to make some tough choices at the editing desk in order to trim a few minutes off the running time. Now, Drama Production and Koran Johar have shared a clip from the film’s deleted sequence that seems to have been difficult to trim.
In context, it seemed like this happened after the ceremony when Rocky’s relatives had intentionally mocked Rani’s dad and his dancing. In this deleted scene, Rocky apologises to Rani for his and his family’s behaviour and makes up with her.
In the video, Rocky secretly entered Rani’s room and tried to persuade her. She wasn’t in the mood to listen to him after seeing how much his family had humiliated her father. She finally consented to sit down and talk to him after he persuaded her multiple times. Rocky reassured Rani that nothing or no one could stand in the way of their love. He said, “Love hai toh sab hai.” Rocky and Rani were last seen hugging at the end of the clip.
Karan posted the video and a caption on Instagram, saying, “Bas love hai toh sab hai…” while Dhrama Production captioned the video, “Bas love hai toh sab hai” – and with that the scene you’ve all been waiting for is finally here!🥰”

Many fans have praised the moment and asked for its inclusion in the next OTT broadcast. Ranveer also requested, “Sir, please release the extended version of the film with all the scenes when it streams. People are eager to see Rani’s theme song and the other deleted scenes. So, kindly make the 3 hours and 10 minutes version available on OTT.”
