New Delhi: It seems that Shah Rukh Khan’s fans can’t wait for 2023 already as King Khan is going to rule the year. South filmmaker Atlee has collaborated with SRK for the first time in the upcoming film. Meanwhile, Red Chillies Entertainment on Friday announced SRK and Atlee’s next, Jawan.
Today, the superstar took to social media to share Jawan’s short teaser. This is SRK’s third announcement of his new film this year following Pathan and Dunki. The movie will be released on June 2, 2023.
The announcement was accompanied by a one-and-a-half-minute video that opens with the shots of the Northern Lights. With SRK revealing his bruised face covered with bandages, we hear the sound of whistles. The video then cuts to a shot of a television screen, on which appears a coded message. SRK’s character uncovers a trove of ammunition and receives a message on the radio to which he laughs and maniacally says “Ready.”

Taking about the movie, SRK stated, “Jawan is a universal story that goes beyond languages, geographies and is for all to enjoy. Credit goes to Atlee for creating this unique film, which has also been a fantastic experience for me as I love action films!
