New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who has been constant scrutiny for her relationship with the actor and alleged role in his death, has chosen to break silence over all issues including drug dealing charges against her.
In an exclusive interview to India Today’s Rajeep Sardesai, Rhea Chakraborty spoke on a range of issues, refuted all charges against her and even claimed that she wasn’t aware of Sushant’s mental illness till they went on an Europe trip.

Rhea said, that it was on that trip she got to know about Sushant’s mental illness.
Rhea told the news channel, “When we were leaving for Europe, Sushant said that he feel claustrophobic in a flight. He took a medicine, Modafinil, without any prescription. When we reached Paris, he didn’t leave his room for three days. Before the trip, he said that he was very happy. He had told me that he is very excited for the trip as he will show me his true side during our Europe stay. He will walk on the streets and have fun with me which he couldn’t do in India. We were really happy. I was wondering what happened.”
Refuting charges of siphoning off Sushant’s money from his bank accounts and also living on the actor’s money, the actress said, “I had a fashion shoot by the clothing brand Shein in Paris. The company sent me the tickets. But, it was Sushant who got it changed to Europe tour plan. He made all the bookings. I thought it was a very expensive trip, but that was how he was. Who was I to question that?”
Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty is also under the scanner of investigative agencies over his alleged collusion in siphoning off money.
Rhea said, “Showik had a great bonding with Sushant. Even we used to joke that Showik is my “sautan”. Sushant, Showik and I were partners in a company called Rhealityx, which dealt with artificial intelligence. It was Sushant who named the company after me. ”
Meanwhile, fresh and startling revelations continue to tumble out of the closed. Yesterday, the Narcotics Bureau joined the probe to investigate allegations of drug dealing by Rhea.
Each passing day is proving to be tougher day for Rhea Chakraborty as her role seems to be getting deeper in the murkier saga.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14.
