New Delhi: Aamir Khan along with Kiran Rao and Naga Chaitanya are currently shooting for the last schedule of their upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The film is being shot in Wakha village, in Ladakh.
Meanwhile, a Twitter user from the village has posted a video of the location. He has accused Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and the crew of the film of littering the clean environment of the village.
This is the gift Bollywood star Amir Khan’s upcoming movie Lal Singh Chada has left for the villagers of Wakha in Ladakh.
Amir Khan himself talks big about environmental cleanliness at Satyamev Jayate but this is what happens when it comes to himself. pic.twitter.com/exCE3bGHyB— Jigmat Ladakhi ?? (@nontsay) July 8, 2021
The user posted the video and wrote, “This is the gift Bollywood star Amir Khan’s upcoming movie Lal Singh Chada has left for the villagers of Wakha in Ladakh. Amir Khan himself talks big about environmental cleanliness at Satyamev Jayate but this is what happens when it comes to himself.”
‘Littering Ladakh’ video elicits strong reactions on Twitter
The post received an ample amount of reactions from Twitter users, where some defended the actor saying that the crew haven’t left the village and will last till August. Whereas some expressed anger on the matter calling it an appropriate behavior towards nature, especially in a sensitive eco-system.
This is the kind of havoc the crew is creating with the undisturbed environment.
Wake up so called Bollywood stars!!
Seems these people lost their civic senses!!— Jigmat Ladakhi ?? (@nontsay) July 8, 2021
The film team is there till end August. Twitter troublemakers look for any weak opportunity. All film teams clean up before they go. In mid 2000 Aamir and Lagaan team returned to villagers in Gujarat their arable land perfectly, used through 6 month shoot.

A Twitter user wrote, “Maybe the crew is there till August according to them… but cleaning up every day before winding up is a must. It’s called decency and keeping the place pristine like how it is maintained by the locals. Kindly maintain the beauty of this place in all its naturality.”
Yes!!! And they are already done shooting at that part of the land leaving the garbages behind. They have already moved to the next set which is almost half mile away.
So I guess they are not cleaning.
Film budget in crores and didn’t even bother to clean the place before pack up— Mutop Lhamo (@MutopLhamo) July 9, 2021
