New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was one of the unusual faces on the rescue boat in flood-hit Chennai on Tuesday, as he along with many others were pulled out from city’s inundated regions by the disaster management team.
Tamil Nadu, hit by Cyclone Michaung and subsequent torrential rains, saw many areas getting deluged and flooded with rain water. While many areas got cut from the mainstream, a lot many people got stranded at different locations.
Today, the Tamil Nadu Fire & Rescue Services team rescued actor Aamir Khan in a boat in Karapakkam.
As the pictures of rescue teams surfaced, it created a flutter on social media with many getting startled & surprised over actor’s rescue from floods. Along with Aamir, Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal could be seen on the same boat.

Vishnu Vishal took to X (formerly called Twitter) and shared pictures of the relief operation on his timeline. He thanked the Fire and Rescue department and the state government.
He shared two pictures where boats were deployed to rescue the passengers. In the pictures, Vishnu Vishal’s wife and badminton player Jwala Gutta could also be seen.
Hours ago, the Tamil Nadu had taken to X and sought help from the flood rescue teams. Sharing his travail, he wrote, “No electricity, no wifi, No phone signal, Nothing! Only on terrace at a particular point i get some signal Lets hope i and so many here get some help”

As per reports, Aamir Khan relocated to Chennai sometime ago to stay close to his mother, where latter is undergoing treatment. He was reportedly at Tamil actor’s residence when the floods hit the city.
On the work front, Aamir would be next seen in an upcoming flick titled Sitare Zameen par.
