Gaushala Scam in Rajasthan: Six cow shelters given over 62 lakh worth of govt grant without a single cow; gaushalas asked for clarification

The case was same with the Rata Baba Gaushala Development Institute in Lakha village and the Goshala of Chanane Development and Service Institute in Jasurana.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department of Rajasthan have unearthed an alleged Gaushala Scam worth crores of rupees.

As per the reports, the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department, during the investigation found out that 12 out of 25 cow shelters were taking advantages from the central and state government, without having a single cow in the shelter.

It is also said that not a single cow was found at the time of inspection in the Goshala operated by the Kathodi Utthan Sansthan and the Janj Vikas Sansthan.

The case was same with the Rata Baba Gaushala Development Institute in Lakha village and the Goshala of Chanane Development and Service Institute in Jasurana.

According to the report, not even a single animal was found in shelters like Aman Goshala operated in the moonlight of Chandan Mangali, Gul Roshan Goshala of Jasurana.

However, each of these shelters has taken advantages in the name of the cow dynasty.

Out of these, there are 6 Gaushalas, who recently raised the an amount  of Rs 62 lakh last year. They were given govt benefits after the  operators lied to the government that they had 1814 animals, and burnt themselves 62 lakh rupees.

Now the investigation team has issued a notice to the operators of all these gaushalas and asked for clarification.
