J&K: 3 CRPF personnel killed, 7 injured after terrorists attack paramilitary patrol in Kupwara

New Delhi: Three CRPF personnel lost their lives while seven others got injured in a terror attack in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.

The attackers reportedly opened fire on CPRF patrolling party and launched heavy fire, following which the forces retaliated.

Three CRPF jawans were killed on the spot, officials said.

The area has been cordoned off and additional forces rushed there to track down the assailants, the officials said. Further details are awaited.
