Ladakh face-off: Valiant jawans broke neck, smashed faces of PLA soldiers; scuffle left Chinese in ‘state of horror’

After Colonel’s falling down, the 16 Bihar soldiers were joined by ‘Ghatak’ troops and they together launched most brutal attack on Chinese soldiers…. snapping their neck and smashing their faces.

New Delhi: In the violent face-off at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh, Indian Army taught Chinese PLA troops a lesson of their lifetime. Though, Army jawans were outnumbered at the Galwan valley, their display of ferocious valour and aggression left the Chinese in utter shock as they didn’t expect such counter-attack.

The ground report presents even more unnerving picture. In the Chinese ambush at Galwan valley, Indian Commanding officer Colonel B Santosh Babu lost his life. After Colonel’s falling down, the 16 Bihar soldiers were joined by ‘Ghatak’ troops and they together launched most brutal attack on Chinese soldiers…. snapping their neck and smashing their faces.

Some Chinese soldiers had their neck dangling from their bodies and the PLA had a tough time handling the bodies of its soldiers, the report said citing inputs gathered from multiple sources. Bodies of the slain PLA soldiers were scattered all over the ridge and nearby gorge.

According to the report, the “primitive fighting methods” by the Indian soldiers using stones, bayonets and sticks suggest they were merciless in their attack the moment their commanding officer fell.

As the attack and counter-attack went on for over four hours, a few soldiers snatched the swords and rods from the Chinese troops and used it against the enemy.

According to the sources quoted in the report, many PLA troops tried to escape and were chased by Indian soldiers. However, the chasing Indian troops ended up in PLA custody as their numbers multiplied. These soldiers were among those who were released on Friday (19 June), the report said.

‘Chinese soldiers were in state of horror’

After the Ladakh face-off, the Chinese soldiers were in a state of panic and horror as they anticipated another reign of terror by Indian forces. Chinese troops didn’t expect such reprisal from ‘unprepared’ Indian side but the moment they attacked, valiant jawans snatched clubs and iron rods from Chinese from which battered Indian troops and used the same to kill at least 20 Chinese troops.

This comes after Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane on Saturday said that the entire situation along the borders with China is under control and the process of disengagement has started.

According to Sunday Guardian, the debriefing of 10 Indian Armymen including 2 Majors and 2 Captains who returned from China captivity after 2 days, revealed that Chinese Army was in a state of panic.

“During the next 60 plus hours, the Chinese soldiers were highly anxious about a possible retribution from the Indian side and were in “panic-mode”.

“They (Chinese soldiers) were very scared during the time our men were in their captivity. They had witnessed raw fighting spirit just hours before, as executed by a few of our men and the Chinese soldiers were anticipating the same treatment from a much larger number of our men in the next few hours”, said an official source, who is aware of the findings of the debriefing,” reported the leading paper.
