Sankalp Yatra: Yogi govt’s crusade against corruption continues, people can lodge graft complaint on CM helpline

Taking strict action against the accused involved in corruption, the government has sent over 1500 officers behind the bars. Apart from this, as many as 12 officers of the Panchayati Raj Department were suspended.

New Delhi: Taking forward its determination to root out corruption in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has taken strict action against the corrupt by adopting the zero-tolerance policy.

With a stringent ‘zero tolerance’ policy, the Uttar Pradesh government, in its four and half years, has managed to curb corruption, which was prevalent in the state during previous governments.

Taking strict action against the accused involved in corruption, the government has sent over 1500 officers behind the bars. Apart from this, as many as 12 officers of the Panchayati Raj Department were suspended.

CM Yogi, taking action against crime and corruption, not only demoted the SDM to Tehsildar but many criminals were put behind bars. The accused found in the scam of monuments in UP were also arrested, and to bring transparency in the ration distribution, Posh machines were installed.

Earlier, IGRS (Integrated Grievance Redressal System) CM Portal, an integrated system, was launched by CM Yogi for the redressal of grievances of the citizens of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Through this service, people can easily register their complaints and grievances related to any government department through this common online platform. This integrated system is known as the UP Jansunwai portal.

CM Helpline 1076

Earlier, the Yogi Adityanath government launched the Chief Minister toll-free helpline that enables people from across the state to register their complaints. The performance of the officers posted in the respective departments is being assessed on the basis of complaints received on the CM helpline.

The helpline number 1076 works 24×7. It not only establishes direct contact between the people and the Chief Minister’s office but also casts a shadow on bureaucrats who do not respond to people’s complaints.
