New Delhi: In a shocking case, reminiscent of justice in medieval times, a woman in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh was forced to carry her husband on shoulder as ‘punishment.
The woman was tortured after his husband alleged that she had extra-marital affair with another man.
In the video, the mob can be seen forcing the woman’s husband to sit on his shoulder while villagers mocked and jeered at her from behind.
The woman was also beaten up by the mob, when she stopped.

The family members and villagers meted out the punishment to woman after her husband alleged that she had extra-marital affair with a co-worker.
A case has been registered against husband and 6 others after the victim approached police.
