New Delhi: Yogi Adityanath is one of those Chief Ministers who wants to lead by example. Tough and adverse circumstances serve as a trigger for him rather than a roadblock.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath left his security personnel in jitters as he took an impromptu road trip from Moradabad to Ghaziabad for understanding ground realities.

The security personnel were a worried bunch when CM announced to take the road route on Saturday as he was unable to fly due to inclement weather. He was in Moradabad and had to fly to Ghaziabad.

The authorities advised CM to postpone event at Ghaziabad where he was about to dedicate Kailash Mansarovar building to the public. But, he firmly told to go ahead with the event and said he will travel by car instead leaving the officials in a state of jitter.

Ignoring security threat, the undeterred CM embarked upon a road trip of about 150 kms during which he was well received by the people along the road.

“This, in fact, was deliberate on his part as he wanted to take first-hand stock of the ground realities in terms of conditions of road, arrangements of cleanliness and general amenities for the people of the state,” a senior officer accompanying him said.
