New Delhi: In a major success for Uttar Pradesh Police, the Special Task Force (STF) today nabbed Rauf, the alleged mastermind of Hathras conspiracy.
The UP STF apprehended him from Trivandram airport as he was about to flee the country to Oman.
Rauf is said to be the guide of 4 PFI (Popular Front of India) members, who were arrested in Mathura while they were on their way to Hathras.
It was on the directions of Rauf that all 4 PFI operatives had planned a secret operation to reach the beleaguered town and incite caste based unrest across the state.
