New Delhi: A powerful bowling performance helped Bangladesh defeat Australia by 10 runs in the third T20I of the five-match series. This big win has helped Bangladesh to gain an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
Aussies were completely outplayed by the hosts as chasing a low score of 128, Australia got off to a bad start when skipper Wade was sent back to the Pavillion at the team score of 8 runs.
Later in the match, Marsh and McDermott grew a partnership of 63 runs for the second wicket. Shakib Al Hasan broke this dangerous partnership in the 14th over when he bowled McDermott (35), with Australia still needing 57 runs for the win.
With an incredible display of performance in the first 3 matches, Bangladesh has scripted history as they have won their first bilateral series against Australia.
