New Delhi: Cricketer Robin Uthappa announced his retirement from all forms of Indian cricket on Wednesday. Announcing his decision on Twitter, Uthappa shared a two-page long emotional note. In his letter, he said it has been 20 years since he started playing professional cricket. He added that he will now spend significant time with my young family.
Sharing his letter, Uttappa wrote on Twitter, ”all good things must come to an end, and with a grateful heart, I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket.”

In his letter, he thanked the President, Secretary and office bearers so the BCCI for their support and encouragement throughout my cricket career. Further, he extended his gratitude to Karnataka State Cricket Association, Saurashtra Cricket Association and Kerala Cricket Association for giving him the honour of representing states during the course of his career.
He also gave a special mention to KKR & CSK for all the wonderful memories and support of my family. He added that he credited his parents and sister for allowing him to pursue his passion. He also thanked them for all sacrifices they made for him while growing up.
Before ending his letter, Uthappa did not forget to give a big thanks to all his fans, well-wishers, dearest friends, supporters, critics, and journalists for all their lives, support, positive energy and motivation.
