ICC shares ‘then and now’ videos of Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Babar Azam ahead of U-19 WC final [WATCH]

New Delhi: The young U-19 Indian cricket team has shown a fight and a resilient display of cricket in the ongoing World Cup to make it to the final. This team emulates the previous ones led by Virat Kohli and Prithvi Shaw.

Captain Yash Dhull and Co. reached the finals with clinical victories over South Africa, Ireland, Uganda, Bangladesh and one of the other potential finalists in Australia and additionally are still undefeated in the tournament.

Meanwhile, The International Cricket Council (ICC) has shared a ‘then and now’ video of some the greatest cricketers to ever play the multi-nation tournament at the youth level, ahead of the India vs England final of the ongoing edition of the tournament.

The video included the old clips of Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Babar Azam, Ben Stokes, Steve Smith, and KL Rahul when in the U-19 tournament and a comparision to their present-day techniques.

India, which happens to be a four-time U-19 World Cup champion has qualified for yet another final as the squad goes ahead to chase their fifth title.

The summit clash between India and England will be telecast live on Star Sports Network from 6:30 PM on Saturday.
