However, India won the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2 ODI WC (1983,2011) on the other hand, one of the most successful teams in International Cricket, the Proteas do not have any World Cup trophy, neither ODI nor T2O World Cups.

Weather at Barbados

While the much anticipated final is all set to be played on 29th June at Barbados, unavoidable circumstances like rain could ruin the epic showdown.

According to the weather forecast rain could interrupt or even wash out the game on the day of the final. As per the Barbados Meteorological Service, a tropical storm could affect the island on the day of the finals.

Due to such unavoidable circumstances, the final of The T20 WC has the provision of a reserve day, 30th June. If the game is declared a wash-out, the final could be rescheduled for 30th June, Sunday.

Additionally, if the circumstances do not favor the game on the reserve day too then both India and South Africa will be declared joint winners.
