Notably, Virat Kholi has made his Test debut in 2011 and played 99 matches so far. During this period, he made 7,962 runs with the help of 27 centuries and 28 half-centuries. He became the captain in this format in 2014.
During the time period of almost 7 years, Kholi led team India in 68 Tests with 40 wins, 17 losses, and 11 defeats. Besides, the 33-year-old cricketer already left the captaincy for ODI in December and for T20I in September.
