PSL 2021: Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators match delayed after Fawad Ahmed test positive for COVID-19
New Delhi: Pakistan Super League 2021 has been hit by novel coronavirus as Leg-spinner Fawad from the United’s squad tested positive for coronavirus.
The match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators has been delayed by two hours. PSL franchise confirmed the news on Twitter about Ahmed’s positive test. They also informed that Fawad’s teammates have been re-tested and their results have come out negative.

The match is scheduled to start at 9pm now. All other teams are currently undergoing Tests. Islamabad United are cleared to play.

Match 12 of the Pakistan Super League was scheduled to be played at the National Stadium in Karachi.
The PCB said that the coronavirus test results of players from both squads have come back negative. “This is being done to ensure players from both sides get time to prepare for the game,”
