New Delhi: Virat Kohli, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, has made a great achievement. He has become the 12th Indian cricketer to play the 100th test match. The Test match between India and Sri Lanka started on Friday.
The former captain has scored the century of Test match number. On this special occasion, he also thanked a special person.

Ahead of the 100th match of his Test career, Virat Kohli gave an interview to the BCCI, wherein he praised his wife Anushka Sharma. He said that Anushka is the biggest source of strength in his life. “After the she came into my life, things kept on getting better”, he added.
Virat further thanked Anushka Sharma for making a big impact in his life. He said that I am thankful to God that I got a wife like her. I have become a completely changed man for all the right reasons. Virat said that Anushka is ‘a pillar of strength for me’.
“We helped each other refine. Had she not been in my life, I would not have been able to move forward with so much patience and passion”, he said.

Missed the last Test trip
Kohli also remembered his 99 Test journey so far. The former captain said, “The way we played Test cricket from 2015-2020, each of those series is a special memory in itself.”
“We lost a few matches and came back strongly in many matches. Extremely proud of the whole stage”, he stated.
Let us tell you that the relationship between Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma started in 2013.
The duo married in Italy in December 2017. They have a lovely daughter named Vamika, who was born in January 2021.
