New Delhi: Over 100 people killed and many injured following an earthquake in North West China last night. Authorities initiated rescue and search operations immediately in Gansu and Qinghai province. Massive damage has been caused to the houses, roads, electricity and buildings. According to reports this is termed as the deadliest earth quake reported in a decade. China’s Finance Ministry has released over 200 million yuan for the affected areas. Russian President Vladamir Putin also offered condolences to his chinese counterpart Xi Xinping after the earthquake created havoc in the country. Power and water supply is also affected due to the earthquake.
