New Delhi: Cyclone Michaung has created havoc in Chennai leaving 8 people dead. However, the cyclone is expected to make landfall today. Both the states have been badly hit by rains and thunderstorms in the last 24 hours. Two people have died due to electrocution and five people lost their lives in rain-related incidents. Over 900 people living in the villages of Andhra Pradesh have been evacuated because of the cyclone. Chennai Aiport have been shut after severe water-logging and the schools and offices are closed. According to the Met Department, the cyclone will remain severe till December 6th. Several areas of Chennai are submerged in knee-deep

water.
