We will celebrate Diwali now, says kin of one of the rescued workers after a successful rescue operation

New Delhi: The family of the trapped workers were seen bursting crackers after the workers finally made it home. It was an emotional moment for all the members of the workers who had been stuck inside the tunnel for the last 17 days. One of the family members of the workers thanked Prime Minister Modi and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for their help and support. The workers also spoke to Prime Minister Modi on the phone and shared their experiences. All the workers were also taken to the hospital for a thorough check-up. The workers were trapped inside the under-constructed tunnel for the last 17 days.
