New Delhi: Over one lakh tourist is likely to visit Shimla to celebrate New Year according to Delhi Police. The superintendent of Police in Shimla said that we plan to organize similar festivities for December 31st. We witnessed over one lakh tourists during Christmas and we are hoping over one lakh tourists will be visiting Shimla to celebrate New Year. The state Police is also ensuring the safety of the passengers and they are holding routing checking at the check posts. The police is planning to keep strict vigil on the traffic movement coming from outside. Over 60,000 tourists vehicles entered Shimla since christmas.
