New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath meets eight workers rescued from the Silkyara Tunnel that collapsed in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister asked them about their experiences and struggles they faced while they were stuck inside the tunnel for 17 days. The CM also gifted them shawls and other gifts. The eight workers arrived in Lucknow via Rishikesh. The workers got trapped in the tunnel on November 12 and were evacuated safely on November 28th. They were also put under observation at AIIMS Rishikesh to check their health parameters. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also lauded their courage and patience while they were stuck inside.
