New Delhi: BJP Candidate Ishwar Sahu is a labourer by profession and he has defeated the congress sitting MLA Ravindra Choubey.Ishwar Sahu’s son is killed by a mob during the riots. He was fielded by the BJP against a Congress veteran. During campaigning Ishwar Sahu attacked the congress candidate by saying that he failed to perform his duties. Ishwar Sahu’s son was killed in a communal clash in Biranpur village in April. Ishwar Sahu secured 101789 votes while the congress candidate secured 96,593 votes. Ishwar Sahu is a labourer and a riot victim. BJP gave a ticket to Ishwar Sadhu to contest elections after his son was killed by mob lynching.
