New Delhi: The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has apologised in Lok Sabha for his statement on the number of road accidents in the country. The Transport Minister said that I am very sorry. Unfortunately, it is not a good success story of my department that we are trying our level best from last nine years, but we are not in a position to reduce the accidents and death.” This was the statement given by him. He later apologised and clarified saying that it is not a success story of my department.
