New Delhi: Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM) has once again sparked controversy around Mathura Krishna Janmabhoomi as they have announced that they will perform “Aarti” of Lord Krishna at the Shahi Idgah on December 10 for 10 minutes. ABHM has also warned of a nationwide protest over it if any administration tried to stop them.

However, earlier on December 6, ABHM announced to perform aarti in the mosque after which security forces in huge numbers were deployed across the city to avoid any untoward incident.

In a letter to the district magistrate, Rajyashree Chaudhuri national president of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha said,  “The administration did not allow Balagopal Ji to enter his place of birth on December 6 citing communal harmony (would be disturbed). Now, we request the administration to allow us to perform aarti on World Human Rights Day (December 10) for 10 minutes at the real birthplace of Lord Krishna.”
