PM Modi meets President Kovind, briefs him on issues of national and international importance

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met and discussed issues of national and international importance with the President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
In a tweet, President Kovind tweeted out a picture with PM Modi and posted about the brief meeting. In the picture, both of them can be seen wearing face masks.

The meeting comes after the PM Modi had visited Leh earlier this week and addressed soldiers following the June 15 clashes in the higher reaches of that region with Chinese troops in which 20 army personnel sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The details of the meeting are yet to be made public.
