Gaana, the music streaming platform has already sacked its employee Tanzila Anis a day after her disgusting comment on social media.

Tanzila Anas had tweeted, “Bajrang Dal Activist. That’s it, that’s the tweet.”

The tweet was utterly in bad taste and sought to justify the murder of youth from the majority community.

In a statement posted on social media, Gaana said, “With regards to the social media posts by a recently joined employee of Gaana, these posts do not represent our values. She is no longer employed by the company.” The platform also said that it “respects all religions and communities of India.”

Chandigarh BJP had filed a criminal complaint against Tanzila Anis and called for Gaana to sack her.

Her previous posts surfaced online:

Tanzila Anis faced a lot of backlash on Twitter over his derogatory tweet against a certain community and specifically killing of Rinku Sharma in cold blood. While she got rebuked by social media users, many of her past tweets surfaced online, showing her obvious hatred for Hinduism.
