News Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Government’s consistent action against crime and criminals in line with the zero tolerance policy against crime adopted by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is evoking widespread appreciation and praise for the CM across the country.
The latest example in this context is #YogiModelAgainstCrime, which trended on microblogging site Twitter on Thursday. #YogiModelAgainstCrime was the top Twitter trend with 14,800 tweets till 6.30 pm. With people continuing to tweet till late night, the hashtag dominated among the social media trends throughout.
It is noteworthy that a two-day Chintin Shivir started under the chairmanship of Home Minister Amit Shah at Surajkund in Haryana on Thursday. Meanwhile, people started tweeting on the microblogging site with this hashtag in praise of ‘Yogi Model’. Soon this hashtag became one of the top trends.
A user wrote that Yogi’s policy against crimes in the state has been very successful motivating other states to follow suit. Another user wrote that the significant drop in crime in the state of Uttar Pradesh has opened doors to huge investment in the state.
Yet another user remarked that the state ranks first in terms of punishment for crimes against women, which is one of the steps towards creating Ram Rajya.
