New Delhi: Fans are lauding veteran England’s pacer James Anderson on social media, who displayed sturdy sportsmen spirit on Thursday, September 2. The instance crop up on the first day of the Oval Test against India.

Anderson had injured his knee while taking a tumble while bowling. The blood was visible on his white trouser when he was bowling in the 42nd over of the match.

The 39-year-old has been in an astonishing form in the ongoing Test series between India and England. Anderson has improved his bowling form and is currently placed at the third patch in the bowling chart of the series. Anderson stands on the third spot with 14 wickets, after Ollie Robinson and Jasprit Bumrah with 19 and 16 wickets respectively.
