BGIS 2024 GRAND FINALS: Team Soul Dominates Day 1, All Eyes on Day 2

Day 1 of the BGIS 2024 Grand Finals saw Team Soul take the lead with 58 points, setting the stage for an epic showdown among India’s top 16 BGMI teams.

New Delhi: Yesterday at the Hyderabad-based HITEX Exhibition Center, the much-awaited Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Grand Finals began. In an exciting showcase of esports skills, 16 of India’s best BGMI teams competed in front of over 2,500 spectators.

Match Highlights:

Match 1 – Erangel:

Venom Gaming emerged victorious in the first match, securing 21 points. Key players Venom and Fantom contributed significantly with four and three kills respectively. Team Soul scored 12 points, followed by Team Insane with 15. Sadly, without winning any points, MOGO and Team Tamilas were eliminated early.

Match 2 – Miramar:

This match faced technical issues, resulting in the points being divided among the last three surviving teams. Team X-Spark secured 22 points, topping the match’s performance charts, while FS Esports and Carnival Gaming also performed well.

Match 3 – Sanhok:

Team Tamilas claimed a strategic victory in Sanhok with 15 points, showcasing patience and tactical gameplay. FS Esports added 14 points to their tally, and MOGO followed closely with 13 points. Team Aaru aggressively clinched 10 points.

Match 4 – Vikendi:

Team Soul delivered an outstanding performance with a 25-point Chicken Dinner. Star players Nakul, Rony, and Spower contributed significantly with multiple eliminations. FS Esports continued their consistent run with 13 points, while Global Esports accumulated 11 points.

Match 5 – Miramar:

Team 8Bit made a stunning comeback, dominating the match with a 22-point Chicken Dinner. Venom Gaming and Team X-Spark also had strong performances, earning 14 and 11 points respectively. MOGO and Team Soul each secured six points, maintaining their competitiveness.

Match 6 – Erangel:

Global Esports ended Day 1 on a high note with a remarkable 25-point victory, led by standout player NinjaBoii with seven eliminations. Team Aaru, Raven, and Reckoning Esports also performed well, securing 13, 12, and 11 points respectively. Team Soul added seven points in this match, cementing their position at the top of the leaderboard.

Day 1 of the BGIS 2024 Grand Finals concluded with Team Soul leading the standings with 58 points, thanks to their strategic plays and high elimination count. With 54 points individually, Global Esports and Team X-Spark are right behind. There are still a lot of teams contending for the top slot, so the fight is still strong.
