Plot
In A Journey, Kaye Abad, Paolo Contis, and Patrick Garcia play three closest friends and long-time acquaintances from childhood who set off on an extraordinary road journey. Even after a cancer diagnosis, Kaye’s character persistently refuses to get treatment. Rather, she embarks on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with her husband and closest friend, a voyage that is sure to be filled with ups and downs, acceptance, and pleasure.
Along the varied landscapes of Tasmania, the three friends go on an adventurous trip that includes skinny dipping, penguin sightings, and funeral preparations. The broken mental condition of someone who must battle cancer again after having triumphed over it once before is easy to comprehend and sympathize with.
