New Delhi: Coming out on Disney Plus Hotstar on Earth Day, April 22, 2024—exactly 15 years after the label’s first release, Earth,—Tiger is the next big release from Disneynature.
The film follows a mother tiger as she teaches her cubs to be brave in the face of danger, whether it be from pythons, bears, or ferocious male tigers. The young tigers are energetic, inquisitive, and sometimes awkward.
The captivating tale, which invites viewers to go with Ambar, a tigress nurturing her cubs in the ancient jungles of India, unveils the secrets of our planet’s most adored and captivating animal. Priyanka Chopra Jonas will narrate the narrative, according to Disney.

Cast and Crew
The film follows Ambar, a mother tigress in the verdant Indian jungles, as she cares for her young. Priyanka Chopra Jonas provides the narration.
Tiger, a pioneering film that took 1,500 days to shoot, was produced, co-written, and directed by Mark Linfield, Vanessa Berlowitz, and Rob Sullivan. Roy Conli was also a producer. Blending intense, high-speed action with unexpectedly personal moments.
Blair Underwood narrates the documentary Tigers On The Rise, which honours the incredible recovery of a globally renowned animal. In this narrative, the main characters are the community patrols, biologists, and veterinarians who are committed to making sure that humans and tigers live in harmony.
