Those who fired upon bhakts are now saying ‘Lord Ram belongs to all’: CM Yogi tears into former CM (VIDEO)

“Previous governments wanted to keep all issues unresolved. Those who used to say that Ram is an imagination, those who used to fire upon bhakts & say Ram does not exist, are now saying that Ram belongs to everyone. This is what we have always said,” CM Yogi said in Gorakhpur.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the naysayers and the political rivals who doubted the existence of Lord Ram.

Addressing a gathering in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi slammed all those including former CM Akhilesh Yadav for questioning the belief of Lord Ram devotees.

Taking a jibe at Akhilesh Yadav, CM Yogi said, “Those who used to say that Ram is a figment of imagination are now saying that Ram belongs to everyone.”

With Assembly elections slated for 2022, Samajwadi Party is seeking to rediscover its links to Ayodhya. About a fortnight ago, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav likened his partymen to Ram and Krishna bhakts.

“Lord Ram belongs to the Samajwadi Party as much as to anyone else. We are Ram and Krishna bhakts,” Akhilesh had said.

Akhilesh Yadav also sought to politicise Corona vaccination in the state by claiming it to be a ‘BJP vaccine’. His weird and abominable Corona remark brought strong condemnation in political circles as well as on social media.
