New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off Vande Bharat & Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan Express from Bengaluru, Karnataka today.
This is the first such train in South India and the fifth in the country.
PM Modi will also unveil the 108 feet bronze statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda and inaugurate the Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport at Bengaluru.
At around 12:30 pm, he will be attending a public function in Bengaluru and then at around 3:30 pm, PM Modi will attend the 36th Convocation ceremony of Gandhigram Rural Institute at Dindigul in Tamil Nadu.
PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of multiple projects at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh tomorrow (November 12, Saturday).
